Ozone Therapy
Ozone Ear Insufflation
This treatment addresses health conditions associated with the ear as well as systemic issues elsewhere in the body. Ozone ear insufflations is the process of allowing ozone gas to penetrate through the ear to the sinus and throat using a device very similar to a stethoscope. The procedure is quick and painless.
This treatment is amazing for upper respiratory infections including ear and sinus infections, common colds, flu, etc.
However, ear ozone insufflations also have a systemic effect on the brain and body because ozone is absorbed through the skin into the blood vessels in the ear canal.
Local and systemic benefits of this quick and non-invasive ozone treatment
Clears infection and kills pathogens in ear, nose and throat.
Speeds up recovery from sinus and ear infections, common colds and flu.
Improves micro-circulation in the brain.
Clears brain fog.
Decreases brain inflammation which improves focus, cognition, mood and alleviates depression and anxiety.
Supports recovery from long covid and reduces symptoms such as fatigue, cough, and aching.
Improves oxygen metabolism.
Reduces symptoms related to the inner ear such as tinnitus and vertigo.
Helps recover from mold exposure.
Reduces nasal and sinus congestion and post nasal drip caused by allergies.
Are there side effects of ear ozone insufflations?
Ozone ear insufflation is a safe way to deliver small doses of medical grade ozone into the upper respiratory tract and into the bloodstream. However, we advise pregnant women to discuss this treatment with their OBGYN. As far as we know, ozone is safe during pregnancy but the effects of ozone ear insufflations in pregnancy are not well studied .
Additionally, ozone in the ear canal (when done frequently) can cause dryness, irritation, itching and discharge from the ear. When this happens, it clears on its own within a few days. In this case, we reduce the frequency and resume when the irritation stops.
How long does it take to feel effects of ozone ear insufflations?
Ozone ear (auricular) insufflations have a cumulative effect. Most people experience clearing of sinuses, energy boost and relief from acute infections within just a couple of sessions. For acute conditions, we recommend doing ozone therapy several days in a row. The effect is even stronger when it is combined with IV therapy.
Ozone IV Therapy
One of the most common methods of ozone therapy, some of the patient’s blood is withdrawn and mixed with a carefully measured dose of ozone gas and returned to the patient.
This method is called major auto-hemotherapy (MAH).
In MAH, a measured amount of blood is withdrawn into an IV bag where it interacts with a specific amount of ozone gas, for a specific amount of time. In so doing, it produces a biological effect which leads to a reduction in inflammation, immunomodulation, enhanced blood flow and nutrient exchange. Think of the interaction of ozone with the withdrawn blood as the first of a series of dominos that eventually produces these effects in a much larger scale in the body. It’s important to note that no ozone is ever introduced into the patients’ bloodstream directly. Rather, it’s the series of events that occur in the body after the ozonated blood is returned to the patient that produces the desired therapeutic effect.
During ultraviolet blood irradiation (UBI), blood is withdrawn as part of a sterile, closed circuit from the patient and uniformly exposed to a carefully calibrated amount of ultraviolet light for a set period of time.
Depending on the wavelength and exposure time applied, different therapeutic effects can be obtained.
One of the most common use cases for UBI therapy is to address lingering, hidden, or drug-resistent bacterial or viral infection and subsequently induce a secondary immune response.…..
