Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis

At Eagle Holistic Health, one of the things we are passionate about is....minerals! Why? It all starts with minerals. Without the right mineral balance in the body, our cells can't do what they are meant to and we begin to suffer hormonal imbalances and with that, all the symptoms and diagnoses that follow. Bloodwork is a great tool that we also utilize but the HTMA can show us even more when it comes to minerals.

How many of you knew that potassium helps make our cells sensitive to thyroid hormone and glucose? 99% of potassium is intra-cellular so bloodwork does not give us a good picture. The HTMA shows us if you are low, if you are burning through it, and if it is in balance.

The other cool thing about the HTMA is that it shows us what heavy metals may be accumulating.

The HTMA is read much differently than bloodwork, and it is best to have one done under the care of a provider who is able to interpret the test.

How is a hair test done? Painlessly! It requires about one heaping teaspoon of hair. Samples are cut (not pulled) from as close to the scalp as possible and from a 2-3 areas. Then we use the 1.5 inches that was closest to your scalp to send in. You won't even know it's missing! This is done in the office.

What if I dye my hair? It is best to wait 4-6 weeks from the time you dyed your hair last.

How long does it take? 3-4 weeks

Curious what YOUR minerals are doing? Ready to get the root (no pun intended) of your chronic fatigue? Tired of trying every supplement under the sun?
